STATE LEVEL POLICE RECRUITMENT BOARD, ASSAM has released recruitment notification for 44 nos of post for Assistant Inspector of Excise and 159 nos of post for Excise Constable.

Pay Scale:
Assistant Inspector of Excise – Pay Scale Rs. 14000-49,000/, GP: Rs. 6200/-
Excise Constable – Pay Scale Rs. 14000-49,000/, GP: Rs. 5000/-
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Inspector of Excise – Minimum Higher Secondary passed from any recognized Board or Council.
Excise Constable – Minimum HSLC Passed or its equivalent from any recognized Board or Council.
Age: 18 to 38 years as on 1st January of 2020 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and on or after 01.01.1982).
Relaxations :Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

Selection Process: Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Standard Test (PST) and Written Test.
